Peter A. Pavone Jr. 59, also known as Pete and Pa
Pete was born in Bridgeport, CT on May 16, 1962. Pete was a resident of Bridgeport for 18 years and resided in Southbury CT since 2005. Pete is survived by his wife Mary Pavone, his daughter Danielle (Samuel Schwartz), step-daughters Shannon Mandeville (Tim) and Kimberly Bennett. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Will, Maci, Samone and Silas. Pete is also survived by his brother Anthony Pavone, his sisters Kimberly Higgins and Lisa Pavone, and several nieces and nephews.
Pete attended schools in Fairfield and Bridgeport. He was a member of the Danbury RaceArena S.N.Y.R.A. committee. He was remembered by his love of race cars and camping with his family. He took pride in his classic 1957 Nash Metropolitan, Pete loved to show it off and take his grandchildren for rides. Pete was especially proud of his new business, Greenfield Hill Service, where he has helped his following of customers and made friends with new customers. He was an avid golfer; he took pride in his RV in which he took his family camping. Pete and his wife Mary made multiple trips to Daytona with his Harley. Pete always brought a smile to people’s faces with his jokes and endless stories.
Pete was surrounded by wonderful people who he considered a family of close, loving friends who will feel his loss terribly. Neal Carr, Matt Alves, Todd Lansdale and Ed Groballi (Dawn).
Pete was pre-deceased by his father Peter A. Pavone Sr., his mother Doris J. Pavone, brother Victor J. Pavone, sister Debbie Kelly, and brother in-law Steve Kelly.
Service will be held on Saturday September 11th from 11am to 2pm at Larson’s Funeral Home, 2496 North Ave in Bridgeport, CT.
