It is with great sadness that Miguel Angel Cintron Sr., age 88, beloved husband of the late Esther Sanchez Cintron, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021 surrounded by his love ones.Miguel was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. He was a Bridgeport resident for many years prior to moving to Derby, CT. He retired from the City of Bridgeport with twenty-seven years of service.
Miguel is survived by his loving children, Carmen I. Delgado and former spouse Ramon Delgado of Derby, Miguel A. Cintron Jr. and spouse Mary Cintron of Virginia, Jeannette Rivera and spouse Heriberto Rivera of Shelton, and Jacqueline Burgos and spouse Jesus Burgos of Bridgeport; his beloved grandchildrenKristina Rodriguez and spouse Victor M. Rodriguez Jr., Michael D. Brown, and Miguel A. Cintron III; and great-grandchildren Victor Ramon Rodriguez and Aliviana E. Rodriguez. He is also survived by two brothers Antonio Cintron and spouse Isabel Cintron of Bridgeport and Amador Cintron of Rhode Island. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his parents Jesus Cintron and Felicita Rivera Cintron and seven brothers and one sister, and his granddaughter Mayline Delgado.
His family will receive family and friends on Thursday, November 4, at The Larson Funeral Home, 2496 North Avenue, Bridgeport from 9 am to 10:15 am. A Christian Burial Mass will follow at Blessed Sacrament Church, 275 Union Avenue, Bridgeport followed by burial at Mt. Grove Cemetery in Bridgeport.
