Obituary
Josephine M. Ballerini Schultz, age 97 (10 days short of her 98th Birthday), formerly of Fairfield, devoted wife of Edward Schultz, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2023.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Cindy Prater and her husband David, Donna Gonzalez and her husband Victor, Jeff Schultz;
her grandchildren, Christopher and his wife Amanda, Megan and her husband Larry, Matthew, and Melissa; Great grandchildren, Penelope, Charlotte, and one great grandson on the way; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Edward, she was predeceased by her parents, David and Adele Ballerini, and her siblings, Richard, Frank, Gus, Meo, David, and Caroline.
Born in Bridgeport, she was a longtime resident of Fairfield. While Josephine's family was her main life focus and the greatest joy, she also had a successful career working for Connecticut National Bank and the Teamsters #191 before her retirement. Her family would like to thank the staff of Carolton Chronic Convalescent Hospital for their amazing care of Josephine.
Friends may greet her family on Wednesday, March 15th, from 9-10 AM in the Larson Funeral Home (Now located in the Lesko Building) 1209 Post Road in Fairfield Center. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1030 AM in Saint Pius X Chapel, 834 Brookside Drive, Fairfield. Her interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery.
