Obituary
Jeanne M. Meyers, 98, of Fairfield, devoted wife to the late Henry Meyers, passed away peacefully on Friday January 13th, 2023.
Jeanne spent most of her life in Fairfield, where she worked as a secretary in the Human Resources Department for the Town of Fairfield, as well as, a librarian in the Fairfield Woods Branch until her retirement. Jeanne enjoyed bowling with her friends and family, dancing to country music, and caring for her family, all of whom she deeply loved.
Jeanne's memories will be cherished by her daughter Deborah Zalik and husband Christopher of Seymour; her son-in-law Michael Donovan of Naugatuck; grandchildren Sabrina, Christopher, Felicia, Lucas, Tara, Michael, Ryan and Kelly; Five great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her husband Henry, she is predeceased by parents Arthur and Anna Buddenhagen, one daughter Darlene Donovan and three siblings.
Friends may greet her family on Friday (January 20th) from 10 to 1130 AM in the Larson Funeral Home Pre-Planning & Cremation Services (NOW LOCATED at) 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. A prayer service will be officiated by Father Sam Kachuba at 1130 AM in the funeral home, followed by her interment in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
