Henry Zawadski
1/3/1929 – 11/10/2022
Henry Zawadski, age 93, of Bridgeport passed away 11/10/2022 in Newtown Rehab. Mr. Zawadski was born January 3, 1929 in Bridgeport, son of the late Jan and Anna (Garstka) Zawadski. He was a lifetime resident of the area most recently residing in Stratford. Henry was a United States Navy veteran and a retired Bridgeport Fire Fighter of 25 years. He was a lifelong sports fan and always enjoyed playing golf in his spare time. He is survived by his son Charles Zawadski and his wife Lisa of Stratford.  He also leaves behind Terri McCarthy and her children Nicole Lynk, Nicholas Lynk, and Ashley Lynk. He was predeceased by his wife Joan (Langan), son James, seven brothers, William, Zygmont, Gilbert, Stephen, Charles, Leonard, John and four sisters, Valerie, Felicia, Bernice, and Anne. We would like to thank the compassionate staff of Spring Village at Stratford where he spent his last years.  His interment in Mountain Grove Cemetery was private.
