Dorothy “Dot” Dzamko Linley, age 92, of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Philip Linley, entered into eternal life on January 31, 2023.
Born and raised in Danbury, Dot lived in Fairfield most of her life in the home she and her husband, Phil, built together. Dot and Phil enjoyed traveling together throughout the country and most importantly, loved her children and family. She was a talented cook, baker, and seamstress which led her to collect buttons. She also took great pleasure in gardening.
Dot’s memory will be lovingly remembered by her son, Richard Linley, of Newtown; former daughter-in-law, Deborah Linley, of Danbury; grandchildren, Brett Philip Linley and Richard Joseph Linley, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Maureen Dzamko, of Brookfield, and Dorothea Linley, of Easton; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her loving husband, Philip, Dot was predeceased by her 2 children, Jackie Linley and Gary Linley; siblings, Maryanne Hayes, Richard Dzamko, John Dzamko, and Joseph Dzamko.
All services will be held privately.
