Charles Chuck Capozziello

Charles “Chuck” Capozziello  72 of Tampa, FL, for- merly of Fairfield, CT passed away peacefully on August 22, 2022 surrounded by his daughters.Charles was born on January 8, 1950 in Bridge- port, CT, to Alberico and Jennie Capozziello. Charles was a 1968 graduate of Fair- field Warde High School, Fairfield, CT; and a 1972 graduate of Sacred Heart University, Fairfield, CT.
Charles was part of Sigma Psi Delta, a fraternity broth- erhood built with common goals, aspirations that made a commitment to each other for life. He followed in his fa- ther’s footsteps and became a truck driver, working for Standard Tallow, Herman Isaacs, and Scholastic Book Fair. After his move to Tampa Florida, he worked for Amscot until his retire- ment in 2014. In his youth
he had a passion for skeet shooting, later he became
an avid chess player and internet gamer, and during his retirement he took up leather making. He devoted days and nights to making sure his family was taken care of and thrived. In his life, he prioritized spend- ing time with his children and grandchildren, making special memories, and he
loved his faith. Survivors include his older brother; James Capella, two devoted daughters; Cathy and Mary Capozziello, and his lov-
ing grandchildren; Victor, Angelo, Vincent, Isabella, and Caterina. His memory will continue in the hearts of all those who loved him, and he will be missed by his family and friends every day. Friends are invited to attend the funeral mass on Friday September 2,2022
at 11am in St Theresa’s RC Church Main St Trumbull. Burial will be in Mt Grove Cemetery of Easton. Friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 7pm in The Larson Funeral Home 2496 North Ave, Bridgeport.
