Betty Ann Flaucher, a lifelong Fairfied resident age 88 passed away peacefully on Friday, September 30,2022 with her family by her side. She was the widow of the late Donald J. Flaucher.
Anyone who was lucky enough to have met Betty loved her & felt very blessed to have known her. She was an incredibly special woman who always gave of herself and especially when it came to her family and friends. Betty was also a compassionate & dedicated Geriatric Nurse (RN) for the last 30 years at the Carlton Convalescent Home in Fairfield before her retirement. Many years later, when it was time that she herself needed care, she was extremely fortunate as she became a resident of Jewish Senior Services. A place where she received excellent care from fellow nurses and eventually Hospice as well. We want to thank all those who gave Betty such wonderful kindness and compassion. She deserved that and we her family, will be forever grateful to you always.
Betty is survived by her loving children, daughters Maja Kosch & husband Jim, Anne Marie Flaucher, Donna Colavito & husband John, sons Joseph Flaucher and Peter Flaucher.
Her devoted brothers and sister in laws, Robert Larsen & Dody, Carl Larsen & Judy.
Her cherished grandchildren Sarah Waldron (Kevin) ,Theresa Kosch, Jonathan Kosch, Cara Medina (Ricky), John Colavito (Catherine) and Emily Colavito.
