Henry J. Victoria Sr, age 94, of Fairfield, beloved husband of the late Theresa Piontkowski Victoria , died Sunday November 11, 2018 in his residence. Mr. Victoria was born in Bridgeport and was a life long area resident. He was a retired Machinist for the Remington Arms Company. He was a WWII US Army veteran having served with 4th armored division under General Patton, he also fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a recipient of two Purple Hearts. He was a former New England Golden Glove Champion in Boxing as well as a Boxer in the Army. He is survived by his children; Terrence Victoria and Henry S. Victoria Jr, both of Fairfield, Mary Beth Fenerty, of Glastonbury and Rev, John Victoria, of Williamsport, PA. Seven grandchildren; Henry, Sean, Jessica, Megan, Rebecca, Abigail and Martin. Three great-grandchildren; Cody, Logan and Eve and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend his Funeral on Friday at 10:00 am at Holy Family RC Church, Fairfield for a Mass of Christian Burial Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield, with full Military Honors. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 to 7 pm.
